We do not tolerate any form of discrimination and reserve the right to exclude individuals from the event if necessary.

Take care of one another: If you feel threatened, harassed, or uncomfortable, please reach out to staff at the info point or directly at the Awareness Tent. If you notice someone else might need help, check in with them – don’t leave it to “someone else” to take action. You don’t need to explain or justify your experience or observation.

Consent is consent. Always act according to the principle of consent: interactions and conversations should only take place with mutual agreement. Pay attention to whether the person clearly shows they want to talk or interact with you. Don’t pressure each other.

Don’t assume someone’s gender identity based on their appearance. Just because you perceive someone as male or female doesn’t mean they identify that way. You also can’t tell someone’s pronouns by looking at them. We want to create a space that respects people’s right to define and share their own pronouns. TERFs are not welcome at our festival.

BIPoC and other marginalized groups are not responsible for educating others. If you have questions, please use other sources. Check the links on our website or use a search engine to learn more.

We uphold a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination – when an incident is reported, we follow the principle of believing and centering the affected person’s account. Depending on the severity or if it happens repeatedly, the person responsible for the violence will be removed from the premises and may receive a (permanent) ban. This rule applies to everyone – including crew members and residents. At this festival, the awareness crew holds the authority to make such decisions.

In everyday life, due to patriarchal power structures, not everyone can be equally comfortable being naked. That’s why we ask you (this specifically concerns cis male nudity): be aware of your surroundings and check if your nudity might be making others uncomfortable. If someone asks you to put on a shirt, please do so without discussion. We don’t want to generally forbid or allow things. Nudity is allowed at the lake and sauna areas only. There are changing rooms in the sauna area – please be especially considerate and sensitive in these spaces. If you want more information about this or other topics, check out the links we’ve provided.

A copy of our Safer Space Policy is made available to all artists, staff, attendees, and other involved parties to help create safer spaces and ensure zero tolerance for incidents. It is part of our agreements and contracts.

Please don’t take photos or videos without the explicit consent of those being filmed or photographed. We’re not banning photos altogether – just asking you to be respectful and mindful.

There will be spaces to rest or have conversations available during the festival. The grounds also offer many quiet places for downtime.

GHB is strictly not allowed at our festival – just leave it at home.

We evaluate the effectiveness of our policy after every event and work to address any shortcomings. If you have suggestions, feel free to reach out – anonymously via the form if you prefer.

BE KIND TO EACH OTHER!
